If you played FFXI then that the new Jeuno for FFXIV called "Ishgard" They said it be open once they fix all the battle system issue. So this would be the new city all the high level would be just like FFXI, you know too they come up with a whitegate area for us to go to lol.

So 3 city and 1main city there a few other city still close off and no info on them.

The above is partially true. The 'new city' is Ishgard. From what I can tell from the game's lore, as well as being home to the Dragoons (I think?) it seems to be the closest thing Eorzea has to a spiritual capital.

However, the above poster is making a lot of assumptions. While it's likely that Ishgard will feature a significant amount of higher level content, given the average difficulty of its Coerthas region, we have very, very few details about the role it will have.

For one, and by my understanding, Jueno became prominent in FFXI due to its having the shortest distance on average between the major cities. This is not true of Ishgard, which is a long way from any of the other cities compared to their distance from one another, and makes for an extremely challenging journey besides; especially if you try to reach it by any other route than via the Black Shroud.

It's implementation point is 'we're working on it but it won't be ready until some time after we've fixed everything', by my understanding, with the target of having it ready for the game's PS3 release along with the missing genders.

The distance don't matter remember it's FFXIV not FFXI so in FFXI it was to make all 3 city together because jeuno was the city who made them come together. But FFXIV have a diff lore it still the main city we be going to when it open too they open up the other city we have no info on. Seeing how this the only city we have info and said to be open when they get done with the battle system it seem it be where most of us be going to for 50+ stuff.

Maybe jobs would be there it be better then going to each city to train for our jobs if you get what i mean.

if they do open it in ps3 release then that fine by me but i hoping it around patch 1.21+ish

If you're talking lore you are still forgetting that Ishgard is the center city connecting the city of Sharlavan within the Dravania region and the canverns of Xelphatol leading to Ala Migho in the Gyn Abania region and the Garlean Empire to the north east of Ala Mihgo... but it's cool. It basically connects the low level content to the high level content. Can't wait to see the content there.
