This is my first post on the forum so forgive me if this isn't quite the right place. That said...
Since I just recently got a PS4, I've now noticed that to upgrade my PS3 version of the game to a PS4 version I must give up my ability to play the PS3 version. My question is, why?
I see no benefit for the company. There is no money to be made. Unless my PS4 breaks for some reason and my PS3 remains intact I see no reason I'd ever need to play on my PS3 version again. On it's face, it seems like this would be a way to get people to pay for the PS3 version again, but honestly, who'd do that? If you have multiple service accounts, perhaps, but I still don't see how that matters since the other account would still have a PS3 copy unless it was upgraded.
