I would like to see ninja's get the mudra that's used in the level 50 fight that makes you split into like 5 clones.
I think it'd be kinda nice to use the untapped mana pool for the physical DPS jobs. Just throw on a gcd skill that costs all our MP (maybe scales with the amount of MP spent?), does a crap ton of damage/gives a huge self-buff/enemy-debuff, looks cool, and let us jam it into our rotations whenever we can--a sort of personal ultimate attack. Or just make it another inexpensive part of our rotation that allows for a break from TP usage.
of gcd abilities are cool but more you have them, more useless spell speed is for you.
dragoons go invulnerable when they jump…as it should be.
I was bored and tried to come up with expansion traits and abilities for all the jobs. I didn't manage to do all of them, but here are my dumb ideas about Monk.
TRAITS
52 - Slipstream
Howling Fist increases movement speed. Duration: 10s
56 - Enhanced Touch of Death
Increases Touch of Death's damage over time potency to 30.
60 - Flawless Balance
Extends Perfect Balance duration to 15 seconds.
CLASS ACTIONS
54 - Quicksilver
Ability Recast 90s
Delivers an attack with a potency of 150.
Can only be used when under the effect of Greased Lightning III.
Additional Effect: Grants Greased Lightning IV. Duration: 3s
Greased Lightning IV Bonus: Increases damage dealt by 9% and attack speed by 5%
To clarify on Greased Lightning IV, weaponskills that grant Greased Lightning would refresh its duration. Once Greased Lightning IV wears off, you would still have Greased Lightning III.
That is, you're meant to find a way to extend it as much as possible (namely with Perfect Balance), not to maintain it indefinitely. That said, I'm not sure if Fists of Lightning, Greased Lightning IV, and loads of skill speed would allow you to maintain it indefinitely or not.
58 - Controlled Breathing
Ability Recast 180s
Increases damage dealt by 10% and refreshes TP.
Duration: 20s
JOB ACTIONS
55 - Fists of Lightning
Ability Recast 3s
Increases attack speed by 5%.
Cannot be used with Fists of Earth, Fists of Wind, or Fists of Fire, and shares recast timer with all three.
60 - Explosive Palm
Weaponskill TP 40
Delivers an attack with a potency of 60.
When the effect ends, it delivers an additional attack with a potency of 200.
Can only be used when in raptor form.
Additional Effect: Damage over time. Potency: 15 Duration: 18s
Additional Effect: Changes form to coeurl.
