No Tourny Reward fix?

At this point, wouldn't it make sense just to send everyone a Lightning card and cancel card exclusivity in the tournament until a good system is in place?

I am against sending everyone a lightning card despite being a card collector and taken part in that tournament. What would of been better is not giving anyone the lightning card but it's too late now for that and I still don't think everyone should get it. I just hope that they will not have the next tournament until they have fixed it by removing players ability to pick their own opponents which is causing the P2W and friend/FC members colluding to exploit the tournament ranks.

It undermines the value of the card being used in future ones given how many people participated hardly anyone would need it anymore. I would just prefer they fixed the future tournaments and kept the card worth working towards. I also think they should double the amount of tournaments to two a week since does not need two week gaps between each given how only need 15 matches in the entire two weeks before locked out so they could easily increase the frequency of tournaments.

I appreciate the logical response. It's refreshing. If they offered a secondary method to receive the card and just completely eliminated it from the reward pool, would that be a valid option? I also think the amount of official competition opportunities in this game for Triple Triad is too low.

Only if they made it as hard to get as say for example the Cloud card since the Lightning cards status and stats make it something that should not be easily gained so perhaps MGP point exchange like Cloud's or something like a hard to get achievement reward.

there are 4 tournament cards and 4 gold saucer mini games, which noone really plays

they could make the games 1000 times more attractive by using these cards as very low % drops for winning these games

you could either spam hundreds of minigames for a card or participate in a tournament


as long as 4 out of 80 cards are locked as tournament reward noone will ever be able to collect all 80 cards, which is disappointing

Not sure why you think making SE look like idiots is a good thing, SE already acknowledged from everyone's feedback that there is a major issue with the tournament system and they said are looking into fixing it for future tournaments. The only good thing you should be doing and everyone else is trying to come up with ideas of how to make it better, not trying to make them look like idiots which is just petty and not helping anyone at this stage.

As far as I've seen, there was like 1 post from them saying 'Yeah, we're looking into it...' w/o any type of real apology. And yes, green-lighting something that lets that youtube exist deserves an apology.

The more noise made about this, the more SE is going to want to shut ppl up.

Almost every single 'this is how I think the tourney should be' is a better idea that what they made. So take your pick...

I don't get paid to make their game. I pay for them to not make laughably poor mechanics in the game.
