"Behind Enemy Lines" achievement

I am looking at this achievement and the way it is worded leads me to believe that the achievement should be counting all victories across all grand companies. Now, I am not the only one who thinks this as I've brought it up to quite a few friends. The achievement, for those not familiar with it reads as such:

"Guide any of the three Grand Companies to a TOTAL of 200 Frontline Victories COMBINED."

Im capitalizing those two words because that is what is leading us to believe it should be a cumulative property. I believe I have a firm grasp of the English language and this is either a bug, or way too wordy and needs to be fixed.

Also, just as a side note, it is only giving victory credit towards the Grand Company you're currently listed in (as if that was not obvious by this post).

This is indeed very confusing, I already put in a thread about it which was immediately moved to working as intended. This is clearly not "working as intended" - atleast as far as the wording goes. No dev/gm response to it either. Swept under the rug, or what have you (not being a big deal I'm sure).

I believe it is supposed to total up all wins from all grand companies according to the wording.

But as it is now, it only takes your highest total.

I've been wondering what came of this. I'm currently at 185/200 towards my ADS mount, so I need 15 more first places. If I swapped to GC to get this mount, that wouldn't mean I get it after 15 more wins, I would need 200 right? If so this is something else that makes the GC restriction a problem, in that it disincentivizes GC movement by skilled players who are under 200 wins. I'm not planning on changing GC because it would mean forfeiting the right to all my rank 45 i110 gear for a long time, but I had considered it doing it for long enough to get the rest of the wins for my mount and then changing back- but sounds like changing would be detrimental towards this achievement.

Agreed that it says TOTAL is misleading because it already seems intuitive that both FL modes would count. And having it count wins across multiple GC's seems like a logical way to NOT screw people who did a swap sometime in the past.

If thats any helpful: the german version is a bit clearer - its saying that you have to achieve 200 victories for one GC. So whats basically missing is the misleading "combined". Since that doesnt seem to be a bug but indeed "working as intend" its a localisation erorr I'd say? Maybe you could report it there...?

It's possible the combined is there to refer to Slaughter + Secure, but the 'any GC' along with combined thing throws people off.
