running forward with azerty keyboards , cant bind Z to forward

hey for some reason the game dont let me bind Z to forward movement becous its bound to area effect toggle
befour one of the patches ( one of the oktober / decemeber one's ) i was able to do this
and it just stopt working

how did other players solve this ?
And SE need to fixt this problim fast

i know most of you dont have this problim but a lot of ppl play on azerty keyboards

The only way I can think of would be to use a program such as keytweak to re-map your keys. But that would still be a pretty impractical solution since it might screw up your typing as well. It would be best to wait for SE to fix this problem.

The key re-mapping system needs a lot of improvements. There are too many things that aren't allowed.. without any logical explanation for it.

Never heard of azerty keyboard before, is that for different languages other than english?

in belguim and in france there used a lot , here in the shops most of the time you just cant find qwerty keyboards
you would have to go specailty pc shops or online + blind typing would be crap because everywhere you go ( work , school , public places' etc... ) all are azerty keyboards , i i would have posted this in the french part a lot more responds would have come on it , but the se reps dont look at thous parts of the forum for imput and i cant speak french

If it works like FFXI, Bind Z to forward, by pressing Q instead of Z

Ah thanks for clearing that up; was curious about the azerty layout. Is it easier to use if you speak belgian or french?

If you have Windows you can set the IME to include EN US keyboard. It will allow you to (for example) use alt+~ to change to QWERTY keyboard (or any world keyboard), and back again. I use this for JP input as well as Greek. Check control panel > regional language and options > keyboards.
