it has been clear for a good while that the PS3 version wont come out till the game is in proper order, and P2P is started, there for people buying the PS3 version will not be paying for beta

They just overshoot on the price because it is easier to give a few $ back than ask for a few $ more.

Obviously they have no idea what it would actually cost, they are just guessing high.

the internal date for FFXIV is 11/02/11 so I am not sure where you are getting this 3 day thing, and eve that NOV date is just a palce holder, and yes I am sure the game will be 59.99

You'll never find out from a game retailer what the release date is before the developer gives a release date.
