While I get the idea about being vague, could you elaborate a bit. I don't know anything about another race, specifically one involving "eyes"

I can't find the post unfortunately, but it was said that mixed races do exist and that we may see some in the future.

Also for anyone interested, while individual characters might be hard to discern, there js a mixed race family, in the Gold Saucer. Near the enterence to the Triple Triad area is a Roegadyn man and a "hyuran" boy. Based on their dialogue they are father and son, and there is a mother and daughter too; if they are in the saucer somewhere I don't know, but it is nice to actually see a confirmed mixed family.

I'm sure if you try to think of another race whose bodies look similar enough to the Elezen and may have some extra eyes (or just one), you'll figure it out.

To be fair a lot of people don't know that there is a specific race of this 'group'. also doesn't mention them on wikis.

Okay so what makes other think she is a Garlean then? Is there any evidence?

I noticed this too and was about to fly into a tizzy here on the Lore-ums, but then I realized that that child could have been (and, considering that he doesn't look like a Roe, probably was) adopted.

I thought that too, not like they haven't hinted at adopted families in the game, good work SE. But I'm more inclined to think it's a standard family. I forget where I heard it but someone said the children moslty take after the mother, and we don't know what the mother looks like. Plus Roes do look fairly similar to Hyurs and or Elezens, it could just be that he looks more like the mother right now. But I do realize I am basing everything on speculation.

I do hope SE allows us to create mixed race characters or shows us more mixed race NPCs.

Perhaps dragons were a symbol of power within their culture? Actually now that leads me to believe they're based of valyrians from the song of ice and fire universe although that's a huge stretch lol
