[Suggestion] Please improve the dance stage for GATE The Time of My Life

Gold Saucer's event GATE: The Time of My life is a nice, fun, and easy money maker for MGP. However, the setting of the stage needs some improvements.

First, I am a Miqo'te and I am more familiar with female Miqo'te's emotes, so when I participate in this GATE, I always choose to stand near a female Miqo'te Lady of the Dance, in order to be able to copy her more accurately. However, when it is crowded and when someone decides to be selfish, they would stand so close to the NPC and block the view.

Sometimes, when someone gets too close, even though they are not blocking the whole view, other person usually start going closer to get a closer look (I guess they were in 1st person camera mode). Which results in even worse blocking of the NPC.

I'd like to request that the spotlight area around the NPC should be off-limit. Maybe put an invisible fence (or visible fence, both can work) around the NPC, so that no matter how close people try to stand to the NPC, there is still a reasonable space around the NPC to let everyone has a clear view of the NPC.

Or maybe give each Lord of the Dance and Lady of the Dance a smaller, lower, separated platform. Like the floating platform that the 4 in the middle up top have, but not as tall. Maybe give them a slightly raised platform to stand where no one can jump up to block other people's view.

It is a shame that such a nice mini-game is usually ruined because some players aren't considerate and that polite request doesn't work well in such situation, partly due to chatlog spam during the GATE, partly due to people are selfish.

Hopefully they will do something about it in a later patch ^^

Highlander female is very emotive and I recommend having a look at her above the stage next time. She is very animated when she emotes so it is easier than most races to see the emote ^^.

That's not really addressing the issue. The reason there are 10 lords/ladies in the first place is because some versions of emotes can look completely different. It's really easy to screw up certain emotes if you're looking at a different race from your own.
What the OP wants makes sense, especially for the shorter races like lalafell and miqo'te.

I wouldn't mind some form of invisible wall to stop trolls from blocking them. I have seen a Roe block the Lalafell Lord before funny i know.

Or if the NPC detects someone in their hitbox for too long, Typhon drops down and sneezes them out of the dance.

Thank you. I will try that if I'm desperate. The problem is, NPCs on middle platform are quite far because I have to zoom out to a certain distance in order to see them. I guess if I stand in the middle, I might be able to see them closer even with zoom out.

Yes it is harder to recognize other race's emotes. And my problem (NPC getting blocked) is far worse for the Lalafell NPCs.

In a perfect world, we wouldn't need any measure from the system because everyone would automatically be kind and considerate and would refrain from doing such thing, but since this is not a perfect world and people do get selfish and cause inconvenience to many others, it would be nicer if the system would have something to prevent this.

It's wierd. I very rarely see trolls on this one.

But what I do often see, is people helping eachother out. On balmung, at least, we always have 1-2 people /yelling the emotes to do, in the correct order. I myself try to do this but sometimes I can't get them all and have to put a ??? in there.

Awwww I'm jealous. They don't do that here. And whatever I request in /say or /shout, will always get pushed off the screen because everyone does the emote while watching the NPC (kind of like rehearsal or checking if the emote they think it is will be correct, like checking the difference between /fume and /furious, for example). So it is almost impossible to communicate during this GATE.

Worse yet, one time I shouted "Please don't stand in front of the NPC too close" someone shouted back "I do what I want to do" and it was very disheartening.
