More Nostalgic hairstyles in the future?

The new female hairstyle from the Golden Saucer REALLY reminds me of Quistis Trepe from FF8. After acquiring that, I really would like to see more hairstyles at least influenced by elder Final Fantasy games.

Quistis' hair is put up in a hair clip . It would be nice to get a variation like that however.

Noctis and his companions' hairstyles might be a thing to get, also the Type-0 hairstyles too. I would love to have Machina's hair on my Au Ra .

I agree with this wholeheartedly. I feel like there might be some severe clipping issues with super long hair but if it were possible to implement without a ton of trouble I'd love to see it. Personally I *really* don't see the appeal of taking hairstyles from other characters if they were really unique. Seems a better option to give our characters more ways to be different. But tons of people embrace Lightning's godawful style for whatever unholy reason, so what do I know.

We had this during 1.0
Then people complained that they want the hairstyles of the other races.
At least we female Miqo'te have still hairstyles no other race have ^^

If there were "cool" race specific hair styles, you can be guaranteed that people will complain and due to ARR's wanting to feel open and accessible, I can understand why they don't have many race-specific styles. (There were more race specific ones even at 2.0, but they opened up alot more once aesthetician was added).

GC ranks, as I understood it, were intended to be incomplete so they could add higher levels on later without having to do much updating to the UI. That may be something they haven't been able to revisit, possibly because GC's aren't incredibly interesting/important to many people and there are other aspects of the game they wanted to focus on.
