Did I Just Get Trolled?

So I was running my low level roulette, and got DD. At the beginning me (tank) and the healer said hi, and the two dps said hi but in auto trasnslate, and asked us to use the translator as well. This wasnt a major issue, the run was really smooth; besides me falling off the cliff in the second half. The thing I'm wondering is, were they trolling me? You see, most people forget this, but other players can check your search info by looking under the party member section, and it shows what client you are using too. And both of these players were using an english client. Plus when I looked them up they were in Bulmung a legecy NA server. Now I am aware some people place their clients in other languages to learn them, but can anyone say if bulmung has a large Japanese player base. I don't know Japanese players to branch out as much as others but I could be wrong. Now as far as trolling goes, this was a pretty good one,irt threw me off my game a little bit, but not enough to spoil the run. The main reason I think this might of been some sort of trolling is: the dps were both from bulmung, both are in the same FC, both were 50, and both have theme names, so they are probably married. Additionally, while using the auto translation feature, some of the things they used made no sense within the context of the run, like, I need to make money; not that auto translate has a wide variety of phrases to use to begin with. Anyway I was just wondering if anyone else had any similar incidents like this? If this was trolling it was more amusing than annoying; though trying to navigate the auto translation function, when I am not use to is, was a bit difficult.

As long as the run is smooth and I'm not harassed or spited in any ways, I don't really care much if they use autotranslate or other incomprehensible language to talk about a particular chocobo name "Uranus Destroyer" that dominates the chocobo race top tiers in their server or something else. So to me it's not trolling imo

The Chocobo races I think are by data center, like the dungeons, because I've seen that Chocobo before too.

That said. I think everyone needs to create a "Hi, I'm not a bot" auto-translate macro or something of a verbal captcha before doing anything. While I don't think it's a big problem, bots are certainly running dungeons, I just don't know how many of them are making it through content. The ones in that link were outside Satasha, but they were level 30+ wearing level 15 gear. All of them.

That chocobo thing was just an example of the common unrelated stuff people talks about in dungeon, but that chocobo name was really used around by many players. xD

Speaking of bots, those people could be it. Need OP to clarify more then.

I'm going to say they were probably just bored and messing with you OP. I haven't been in a PT where a JP player asks to use auto-translate function. They just either don't talk or have said, [I Don't Understand English.]

Maybe they were RPing as JP players being from Balmung.
