Sch Novus - Need recommendations

Hi guys. I'll be doing Novus soon. Which stats should I place for my sch. I'm sure that I'll be getting crit. I can't decide whether I should go pure det or add in some acc or piety. I am considering adding acc to be able to help dps in fcob. Miasma and aero kinda miss alot. Thanks

As much crit as you can afford.
As much det as you /want/.
Rest pure accuracy.

I can atest to the accuracy being worth it in the long run with a +33 on my Zeta I'm able to do atleast 200 on T13. The Crit will be there throughout gear but at least maxing it to it's third tier would be good IV only if you have the money. Your Crit won't reach the godly +53 but 41 can suffice crit is 14= 1 % so you'll barely miss a beat, considering you'll be able to DoT more it should be worth it over all

I actually went full crit, Det till the first IV and rest accuracy. Now that I have more gil I was wondering if I should remove the accuracy and go full det instead? I think I miss with my current set +2 possible stats.

I went 36 crit, 24 det, rest acc, as that gives you the most bonus points for Zodiac/Zeta outside of going full crit/det. The only other option I would consider is swapping the det for more acc, as it can be quite frustrating missing a miasma or aero in FCoB.

I grew so frustrated with missing energy drains and Miasma in FCoB that I grinded out Last Resort (from Zenith) in just a little over 2 weeks for the extra accuracy I could meld to it.

That said, just finish your Novus as quickly as possible so you can start your light farming. Meld 3 stats to it if you can't afford the grade IV materia and optimize it later when you've managed to acquire what you need.

I'd go with one of these:

1 - Crit + Accuracy
2 - Crit + Piety
3 - Crit + Piety + Accuracy

Crit + Det is overrated trash. You can't DPS properly where it matters because of laughable accuracy (coil + some ex primals) and you won't be able to heal properly either when things get nasty (DPS eating unnecessary damage, tanks not properly using CDs, people dying etc.). Anything that forces you to launch a few more heal casts and you are out of mana due to lack of piety.

But 35 DET make me heal from 1460 to 1485! Good...let me measure the usefulness of that...!

I atm have crit 36 29 ss (love ss to a certain grade) 10 det though atm as we entering final coil and misses already in t9 bugged me remelding for full crit rest acc. Depending on RNGsus and my loss of crit IV materia might do more acc or keep few points ss as I seen that with full crit build my ss would go to default and... I kinda dont like it :/

Lol it was grueling. However, I did have a completed nexus already so I had the alexandrite and was able to farm lights while working on the dungeon drops to turn in for the final step. This allowed me to work on several steps in tandem with each other and sped up the process. I actually finished the quest for last resort before completing my nexus.
