need help with Gridania.....

I have completed the 2nd quest, the one right after souls gone wild.(dont recall name) and i cannot find out how to continue on. I was told to do levequests, but i've done all the ones i could. except for one that will not let me reaquire it.(I failed it and wont let me pick it back up.) I would like to know how to continue on.

Sorry, but I'm a bit confused about what you're asking.

It sounds like you're asking how you get the next main storyline quest after Souls Gone Wild. If that's what you're asking, here's a walkthrough on the quest "Whispers in the Wood" from Zam. If you're wondering how to start it, you have to equip a job that's at at least level 8, and then talk to Miounne.

As a general matter, storyline and job quests don't always become available immediately upon getting to the required level. Sometimes you have to wait a little while. It seems to be some combination of time and touching an aetheryte that causes them to spawn.

The way you can tell what storyline and job quests are available is by opening your main menu, and clicking on NPC Linkpearl. If a quest is available, the NPC will tell you where you need to go to start it, and then an entry in your Journal may open up, too.

As for leves, those are completely separate from main storyline and job quests. Main storyline and job quests become available when you hit the appropriate level. Leves are available from the levequest counter. You can do 8 every 36 hours. Once you've done all 8, you have to wait until the next server reset to get more. If you're wondering when the next server reset is, you can type /clock into your chat bar and it will tell you.
