Dealing with resource management

In this case I had been using Unchained when it was up, as well as berserk and bloodbath (don't know for sure if the self-healing helps my enmity, but it can't hurt). I don't have strength accessories, but I don't have the funds to even purchase a set of platinum accessories, let alone fully meld them, and I'm a little hesitant to drop my vitality for ironworks slaying accessories as I'm only at 11k HP and some parties struggle keeping me up on bigger pulls. Also in this particular case, I tried putting up Maim but would lose hate when I did. The BLM was regularly at... I wanna say 80% of my DPS. I imagine they had full BiS gear, whereas my stuff is mostly via poetics.

I'll be honest, this is kinda discouraging and making me want to drop my tank. Seems if you don't have a ton of playtime that you focus exclusively into gearing it, you can't play a tank >.>

I know what you mean, I have an i107 Warrior and whenever I get grouped with i120+ DPS (Specifically BLMs), I feel the same as you.

Never seen a single one use Quelling Strikes, because apparently it's my job to hold aggro, not their job to control aggro. Obviously we're not a team that should colaborate, just people trying to compete on who does their job best.
