Okay, I'm not understanding how to finish this event. I get that the repeatable quest continues until end of event.

But what I mean is, the main reward for the quest is a Cherry Blossom Necklace. But how do you get it? Is it a random drop from those sacks you get from the repeatable quest? Or do you have to do a certain number of repeatable quests? Also, is there an achievement for the event like there was last year?

I don't get it. I thought the doll display builds up with everyone on the server doing the repeatable quest? I had no idea I could do that myself. Does anyone know how many repeatable quests are required to complete?

The whole server has to work together to complete the display to progress the quest. This is done by doing the repeatable quest.

yes. the entire server has to work to complete the doll display.
Then the next stage in the quest is unlocked.

I'm not sure what the deal is with SE making one mistake after the other lately. The broke triple triad tournament is one example. Now they release a quest where it's impossible to finish and get the reward unless everyone is doing it. On my server the doll stage is not even half full and the event has been out since March 3rd, and my server is one of the more populated ones. This is just really disheartening.

It's disheartening for me too. I really want the necklace, but it's a glamor piece and part of the population aren't gonna be that interested in glamors anyway...then on top of that, the quest to get the necklace has to be unlocked by farming maps which only gives outdoor housing items as rewards so even less people will see any reason to keep going with it. At this point I'm just hoping that they have the rest of the dolls on a timer that will release them so many days in so we can actually finish the quest. Otherwise I'm not sure that most servers will even have access to the necklace at all.

Excalibur has been on 6 dolls for several days now.

My server is medium population, with nine dolls, so I am sure the big servers will get more dolls soon. It is still the weekend for many places. ^^ But maybe, the event will also progress automatically after some time? I don't think SE would let small servers miss it.

I've been doing so many maps on Excal and it just feels pointless. It's been 6 dolls for what, 4 days now?

If you notice it's the same stage on all populated servers. There is probably a contribution cap so high pop servers don't finish the whole thing in one day.
