The design looks very modernized and frankly, I could never understand why anyone would wear drapes that are so impractical in battle. No wonder BLM's can't move and cast!

You could have sets of armors that wrap around your torso that look like bandages with runes on them.

Design more sets of long robes with more designs, as you can see most of the normal gears have the problem of looking like the last with one new thing attached.

Maybe add some more short-cloaks.

There are literally thousands of designs to chose from, all you have to do is look at deviant art.

This. Even on the WHM set I was immediately reminded of Seers from FF3. I like the new BLM AF so much that it made me reconsider if I will switch to MNK come 3.0.
