What's up with all the NINs Im running into these days?

He's a DPS, he can't do anything on his own. Honestly most of the assholes i run into are Tanks and Healers. Not clearing mobs for EXP or being a douche when it comes to doing their role is much easier because getting into a different party isn't difficult.

This. Generally, I run as a DPS and end up running into tanks or healers that are immensely critical without even suggesting how to improve. They pull even when their team is falling behind and repeat difficult pulls that are too taxing on the party even after causing wipes. Then, if you accidentally do pull aggro in these instances and immediately switch targets or drop to auto attack, you still get to keep the mob til you or it dies. As a DPS, there is almost nothing you can do to discourage rude tanks or healers. I find most prima donna players are attracted to these classes, rather than to NIN or DRG.

Well you are a tank, He is a dps. TANKS RUN the dg not dps. What I do is i let stuck up dps take the pulls and ask the healer to let him die. Waste his time till last boss and kick him by PMing the other 2 before hand. I deal with assholes by being an asshole. 8/10 of the time, it works

I have never noticed this trend at all but maybe its just cuz there are so many damn NIN in this game so its much more likely to encounter one who is an ass. Why would you not play NIN? Most consistently the highest single-target DPS in the game and, unlike MNK, much harder to suck at. There is the "cool" factor, the "new job" factor, and the "OP factor." A lot of people started DRG cuz they thought DRG were "cool" but many dropped it once they realized how underpowered DRG were.

Then again, BRD is still an extremely played job (not surprising as I still considered them the most OP job in the game when all things are considered) but apparently you don't have any issues with them. Most likely, its just your own personal experience.

Let the DPS burn if it's clearly intentional, this coming from someone who usually plays DPS but decided to be a Tank this time around :P

If the DPS have problems with my pullspeed and start I will just /doubt them and keep going at my pace, because they don't have to weigh the group blame at the end of the day if we wipe lol.

A friend of mine is a tank. If a DPS pulls, he just sits back and lets the DPS take the agro (and possibly die). Your pull, your problem. I dont understand why DPS are always in such a hurry or so impatient.
