FFXIV Shuts down

Greetings!

I'm having an issue where, all of a sudden (randomly), FFXIV will shut down, and then my computer will go into the shut down sequence. This doesn't necessarily happen at CPU/GPU taxing moments, but has happened at all different times. Under load my CPU doesn't go above 70-75c so I know it isn't an overheat issue. I've checked event logs and I haven't seen anything out of the ordinary.

I've tried updating my graphics drivers and disabling anything unnecessary in the config and in services with no luck. Thanks for your help!

Try checking your Event viewer to get application crash/bug check logs. That may help people in determining what is the issue.

If the game has crashed, then it will be listed under "errors" and then error code 1000.

I looked under event viewer and FFXIV has never had an issue where it crashed. I'm wondering what's causing this then? I checked all my power settings and everything is at max, and sleep mode is disabled everywhere.

FWIW, I am getting this in the Event Viewer:
The process C:\Windows\system32\winlogon.exe (ROBBIE-PC) has initiated the power off of computer ROBBIE-PC on behalf of user Robbie-PC\Robbie for the following reason: No title for this reason could be found
Reason Code: 0x500ff
Shutdown Type: power off

I've been searching Google for fixes but am only finding mountains of people with the same issue. It is unrelated to FFXIV it seems, other than the fact that it only happens when I play FFXIV lol. I thought it may be an overheating issue but I have run stress tests and it doesn't do it. I am very confused.

A 0x500ff shutdown isn't just an issue. It can be anything. From a broken power button, over a virus to a broken power supply. Could also be a program that shuts down the system due to inactivity (in case you play with gamepad this can happen).
