Enough RMT!

I noticed the sudden major increase of RMT on Zalera too. I just joined the game about 3 weeks ago, and it's a real pain, I guess this is a long time problem that has no current solution. :/

I noticed the sudden major increase of RMT on Zalera too. I just joined the game about 3 weeks ago, and it's a real pain, I guess this is a long time problem that has no current solution. :/

When the free week is over, you'll see a downtick in spam. that's how it always works. Huge uptick right before and during a free week, and then the servers that have capacity issues see the level of spam plummet, while the servers that have available capacity continue to get a stream of spam.

Ahh that makes sense. I'm not as aggravated about the RMT as a lot of people but I also realized FFXIV is still kinda new, there probably is a solution in the works somewhere.
