I AFKd once on Behemoth for 8 hours without /busy up and woke up to uncountable amounts of RMT tells. I mean my chat box was completely full with nothing but them and I couldn't even read anything that might have actually interested me lol.
Those abusers would have a hard time finding someone who actually takes the time to reply to five people in a coordinated attack. They'd get bored quick, and even if an innocent person can't send tells to random people for a week, so what? Most players rarely do that anyway.

Excalibur is rmt and bot paradise. If SE says that using outside programs to macro stuff is a violation, why North shroud bots still prevail? Why are shard farming bots still there even after many ppl reporting? They ban accounts? Not the Inês i blisted then. Rarely i see a "deleted" there... Not to day the ppl spamming holy all day long in gold saucer triad area
I know on my server ppl sell primal runs coil runs pony drops whatever they can, so ppl run to Gil sites but what they need and reenforce the cycle. I'd would wether give the drops away vs have Gil spams win.

A lot more people have either turned off their /tell chats or have gone into 'Busy' status in my server. This tells you how bad things have gotten with the RMTs. Yesterday was extremely bad, worse than I have experienced. I have gotten friend requests from RMTs none stop all day. When players tried to cut ties with /tell chats communciation, RMTs resort to friend request spamming. SE has got to do something about this, this is longer advertising, this is abusive. It shouldn't be a chore having to manage my blacklist everyday, this isn't fun at all.
On a different note, I have seen legitimate FCs using bot programs to level up and gathering. I have reported on these people but nothing is being done about it.
Can I just ask why people use the /busy to not receive tells from RMT?
I can't stand the stupid face by the name, so why don't people just filter the /tells out of chat?
That's what I did, go to your chat log (the little gear symbol) uncheck tells from your chat windows and uncheck the notification sound.
Problem solved and no stupid face by your name! And no need to reapply the stupid /busy
Unfortunately that will not stop the bot friend requests :/ I used to go busy but I just muted tells but over the weekend I had to go busy because the friend request bots were out in full forceCan I just ask why people use the /busy to not receive tells from RMT?

I thought all those shard farmers were bots but you'd be surprised how many of them are actual players.. I've run into quite a few whom I was suspicious but turns out they just gather a looooooootExcalibur is rmt and bot paradise.
