Question on deleting a character

I'm going to delete a character to make into a Bard. But the purchase I made has Collector's Edition content. When I delete this character and recreate her, will my stuff like the fat chocobo mount disappear?

Edit: I already know that characters can have more than one class. But I want her to be rid of the current one completely

This question is moot because you can simply level your current character. Just go the Archer's guild in Gridania and start leveling archer. No need for deleting anything.

you'll still retain your stuff.. it will be mailed to your newly created char.

as Anubis has pointed out.. there's really no need to recreate tho..

once you get past 15, you can go anywhere and start any class

Also you can't just be a bard, it's the job that unlocks for Archer once you get to 30 with Pugilist at 15. So if you want to be a bard you're still going to have to level an archer, and you're going to have to cross-class at some point whether you like it or not.

I know about the requirement about becoming a bard... All my characters have at least two classes to reach a desired job. I made this thread mainly because I want to know about what happens to my mailed items if I deleted a character. Since someone stated that they automatically get sent to the recreation, I recreated my character and took up archery. The reason I wanted a recreation instead of just taking up a new class was to have the previous class completely removed. I rarely used the character, so it wasn't a big deal: she used to be a lvl 10 Thaumaturge. So far, archery is at lvl 7. Thanks for the replies.

Bonus items like Collector's Edition bonuses, pre-order bonuses, veteran's rewards, and Recruit-A-Friend program rewards are all account-wide rewards. They go to all characters on the account that has earned them.

BTW, does anyone know how to delete character profiles from the Lodstone site? I have a few I don't need. What's ironic about it, was that when I deleted and recreated the character in question, the previous profile was replaced with the new one (although it won't appear on this site). i don't know why I still have these leftovers, especially since there were no replacements for them.

I found the solution. It turned out the extra characters were in a different data center, so I went over to Primal and deleted them. I'm still not sure why the recreated character doesn't appear on this site or why the former archer (Hristina in the avatar) doesn't appear as a rogue on like she should (it still says archer). This isn't a problem on Lodestone.

You select which class is shown on the forums in your forum settings. It's probably still showing archer because you didn't change it, I suppose.
