    normal we have:

    2.x - start of a new main update
    2.x1 - month 1
    2.x5 - month 2
    2.x - month 3 (and a new start of a new main update)

    with 2.5 we have:
    2.5 - start of a new main update
    2.51 - month 1
    2.55 - month 2
    ???? - month 3
    ???? - month 4
    3.0 - month 5
