An official timeline has never been revealed sadly, most likely due to the fact that the original backstory to the game was developed by a member of the development team who no longer works for Square Enix, thus the current lore/writing and translation teams have had to pick through what was made and fix contradictions and missing info to develop ARR's story, a task that most likely is still incomplete. Noloe's amazing work is an excellent alternative though.
