Okay, so here's what happened:

I was on my character, inside my FC house, Lavender Beds.
Power cut.

PC on. Try to log in as that character.
I either get an eternal loading screen, or the game quits to desktop with an error message.

Character: (Sarina Starsong - Cerberus)

If I try either of my other characters. It works fine. I can get into the game. But I want to play my main character.

I've already been through the hoops of the troubleshooting. I'm not here to go off and check my firewall, delete my cookies, and make sure the hamster in my PC tower is on the right kind of feed. I've already gone to enormous lengths (as far as using a brand new HDD, fresh installations twice and travelling all over the damned county to try friends' PCs) and have the same issue everywhere.

The issue is clear to me:

Because my character didn't leave the game world via the logout or shutdown command - WHILST inside a FC house - the game hasn't been able to properly situate her outside. (the game does this, so that if people move furniture, you don't get stuck)

So now, due to hack/glitch prevention, or a coding abyss, or very heavy fluff from saturn, or whatever, My toon is stuck, and I cannot access her.

On the times I have "ETERNAL LOADING SCREEN" I think it's more of an eternal overlay. As people say they can see me log in, and I can hear what I think it the recommendations window popping up.

Right-click close on the game icon on taskbar also takes me back to the loading screen and plays the noise of a dialog box popping up.

I've TWO open tickets with the Support people.

They apparently can't read english, and apparently, don't care much either, to help me out. I've had cut-n-paste after cut-n-paste.

After about 8 upset emails, they "escalated" to tier 3. Not heard anything much since.

I miss my friends. I'm missing a yearly event, I'm missing in game stuff.
I just wanna play.
This is the fourth day now I've not been able to play.


I need a member of Sqex staff, a CSR, GM, or whatever to please go "reset" or "move" my toon so I can login. OR at the very least, just try log her in yourselves so you know I'm not trolling.


I must iterate that I am 99.99% sure this is NOT an issue on my end.

If you DARE suggest I go move the folder from My documents, set default settings, use windowed mode or other such rubbish I might just spontaneously combust from the white hot smoldering fury of a thousand rabid wolverines that is biting at the bit within me right now.

This is my last ditch attempt to get this fixed.

If I get no-where, I will just delete my character, cut my losses, and get it restored, as this is the only other confirmed fix I've found on the net. The first fix being "Find a Sqex Employee who actually knows what they are on about."
