I don't remember item codes expiring in FFXI. :\ And I know I bought a few albums that offered item code bonuses. Also the albums are pretty much limited edition that offer the minions cause I don't see them selling the first one anymore on their official store.

I can assure you that the tidal talisman did, I watched a friend go berserk when he realized he was too late to turn it in.
