So which one do you prefer- Lvl. 1-50 or end game content?

Im still in the low 30s and the game is massive imo.

I just wanted to know does it better or is the lv1-50 the best part of the game?

can't wait to hear everyone's thoughts and opinions.

Personally, I've been avoiding most of the post-50 content even though I've been eligible to do it for quite a while now. I prefer going back to one of my lower-leveled classes where I can still be advancing my character. My favorite part was advancing my first class/job though, because that was where I got in most of the questing. I prefer quest content over dungeons, and after 50 (although there are still quests, including some good ones) the focus seems to shift more towards dungeon/raid content and some really grindy content for upgrading gear.

(I've heard from lots of other people, though, who feel just the opposite, and prefer the endgame grind over the leveling grind.)

Alot of people will say 1-50 is just for practice, that the real game starts post 50. I'm finding end game to be alot of fun. I don't do raids, but HM dungeons and the HM-EX primals are fun to do, well atleast I think so and when my head is not up my arse. I try not to think of the gear upgrades as a grind. I've been on my relic animus stage doing the books, though tedious I really haven't minded doing it. Almost done on my last book now, then on to the next stage. Most of my main gear has been upgraded from weathered and have some iron works. I'm at home alot and I just see it as something to do.

Endgame. I love seeing all the new stuff they throw into boss fights, especially when old mechanics are recycled in new ways.

End game is where it's at! Just to give you an idea and a helpful guide on what to start on, here's a nice step by step guide on what to do so you won't get overwhelmed https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...ilebasic?pli=1

This is also 1 patch late so it doesn't even include the golden saucer!

Definitely endgame. I love progressing the class I love the most more than leveling other ones that I'll then have to gear and maybe do relics for and bleh. I do enjoy leveling though - I just have too much endgame backlog to get done before I can level my other ones right now. :c

Endgame here as well. I enjoy leveling and thought thats it for me. I had 5 level 50s when someone in FC asked me to tank T1 (back in 2.1 it was still sth XD ). I was oooh raiding whats that... ill suck hard... but turned out I did my job and got with T4/5 ahead of static, building up own static pugging through EX primals more and more into the raidcontent. Its where my home is now
On the other hand all the leveling... I miss it now that I have all 50s. - Looking forward to expansion level 60 levelcap + new jobs

I love the gear you can get in end game
Hate the hostility from players to another if they find out someone is new to a dungeon

Tough call to decide but I did make some good friend pre-50 that happened to be on the same server as me when doing dungeons, so I'll pick that, for now.

I enjoyed leveling more. The raids and dungeons at endgame are a lot of fun, but everything is a grind and the story/cutscenes/lore is confined to Crystal Tower, Main Scenario, Hildbrand and Coil. The feeling of getting to know Eorzea through quests and talking to NPC, the class/job quests is gone and levequests and guildhests (which I enjoyed) become useless. There's a lot more variety while leveling; in endgame, after the novelty of unlocking all the HM dungeons and raids wear off, there is little to do but spam the same content over and over again. The attitude is completely different as well, everyone is too busy to try and get things done quickly (because they have to run it another dozen times) that you can't just chill and chat, take your time, or truly exploring the new dungeons. I've discovered bits of Brayflox HM last month for the first time because I stayed after everyone left to open chests. Loose lvl synch won't let you experience the content properly too. Everyone is overgeared, so you won't even have to deal with 2/3rds of the mechanics.

I enjoy both for different reasons. I enjoy the 15-49 dungeons a lot because they are well balanced and level sync keeps them fresh. Plus it's fun to meet new players. But it's all old content and becomes boring after a while.

I enjoy the 50 content because you start to get some really interesting mechanics and there's lots of it to do, but the balance is all skrewed up because ilevel sync is too loose.
