Is there even a PVP queue ?????

I'm glad I managed to get my ADS mount before Gold Saucer came out, now taking a bit of a break from PvP. Adders on Chaos Data Center are just... bad. >.>

OMG that goes to show how unfair this system is. Those of us who try really damn hard but get allied with a lot of weaker players can just lose over and over and over, and people in the other GC's get their mounts that much faster and we get them that much slower. And sad thing is, someone in the dominant GC on a datacenter who doesn't even play well will get carried to more wins than those who put everything they have into it will get because of being held back by the people they have to queue up with.

I've thought this week about swapping to get enough wins for my ADS mount and swapping back, but that would mean being unable to access my PVP rank related rewards earned up to now and on principle alone that makes me sick. it's going to affect my PVP and PVE loadouts as well, not just glamour we're talking about.

I'm listing this because I want SE to see a direct example of how this affects a player who has worked very hard to get where they are in PVP. And then apply this concept to anything else in end game, where changing who you can run instances with means a reversal of progression. (New static? Sorry can't equip the Dreadwyrm gear you earned with your old one for a few hundred more matches. Lore!)

Currently equipped PVE-viable gear I would not be able to use if I change GC and PVP rank is reset:
- Birdliege bow (i110 Crit/Det bow)
- Werewolf ring of Aiming (i110)
- Wolfliege Staff (i110 BLM staff)
- Hellwolf Ring of Fending (i100 Vit/Crit/Det)
- Batliege Soto (i110 Crit/Det weapon)
- 3 Pieces Batliege i110 Ninja armor (chest/arms/shoes)
- Elkliege gloves (i110 SCH Crit/Det)
- Elklord Grimoire (i110 SCH Crit/Det)
- Elkliege Belt (i110 SMN)
- Snakeliege Spear (i110 DRG Crit/SS)
- 4 Pieces left side DRG armor

Glamour that would be lost if I change GC and PVP rank is reset:
- Birdsong Coat
- Birdsong Gloves
- Elkhorn Hat
- Ninja hat matching Batliege armor above
- Scholar boots
* and yes I know this isn't all bis but that's beside the point, we have multiple types of gear for a reason and some of this has better secondary stats than some of my i120 gear. If I had worked on relic upgrade instead of PVP that wouldn't get taken away to regrind it if I wanted to run instances with a different set of people.

Maybe there's more but the exercise of figuring out that I wouldn't be able to use all these if I want to swap to the GC that wins makes me really mad. On top of the disappointment from not being able to enjoy this part of the game anymore. I did a Secure run in between typing this and just like the several before it, half the Twin Adders party was on point, and half roamed around aimlessly treating Secure mode like their own personal Slaughter match as usual and they were not where they were supposed to be for the main objectives just like always and we got 2nd place again. Screw second place, and screw the fact I have over 600 games and climbing and no ADS mount while my win rate gets worse and worse because of the GC alignment. The way i feel about all this, if expressed using the language that's going through my head, would almost certainly get me banned from the forums.
