PVP is dead and will remain dead as long as the GC restriction remains in place.
Now lets all wait for somebody to come in here and tell me how the lore prevents it's removal, as if SE doesn't make the lore and can't do whatever they want.

Haha yeah or how they like the GC restriction because they happen to be in the dominant one for their data center and have a much better chance of winning. As if the rest of us have all this control over the dedication and skill level of our data server's playerbase aligned to our own GC. Sure we can queue with a premade but it's not always feasible to find 7 others who want to wait for no telling how long to try and get a match, and if we wait for 45 min to an hour only to get an alliance that's really weak, what kind of experience is that? It's why I play Frontlines so much less now because I'm not going to spend all this time sitting and waiting in queue for matches where the deck is stacked against me from the start. I need like 18 first place wins to get my ADS mount and that's probably going to be 6 months from now that I get it at this rate and hell yes I'm angry about it.
Forever this.
Gameplay > Lore.
Why this was even implemented in the first place is beyond me, right from the get go we all knew the GC resitrictions would be nothing but hassle, long que times and unable to que with friends if they are in a different GC. SE dropped the ball on this one.
