On Lich, pvp queue is always 30min+, this week i succeded in joining frontline twice a day (i only play the evening 7h pm GMT+1). The week-end, i can wait like more than an hour for nothing...
PvP isn't much played on FF14![]()
Unfortunately, with the way that the PvP FL queue works, sometimes all you are waiting on is one GC's ranks to fill up before a match can even start.
PVP is dead and will remain dead as long as the GC restriction remains in place.
Now lets all wait for somebody to come in here and tell me how the lore prevents it's removal, as if SE doesn't make the lore and can't do whatever they want.
Haha yeah or how they like the GC restriction because they happen to be in the dominant one for their data center and have a much better chance of winning. As if the rest of us have all this control over the dedication and skill level of our data server's playerbase aligned to our own GC. Sure we can queue with a premade but it's not always feasible to find 7 others who want to wait for no telling how long to try and get a match, and if we wait for 45 min to an hour only to get an alliance that's really weak, what kind of experience is that? It's why I play Frontlines so much less now because I'm not going to spend all this time sitting and waiting in queue for matches where the deck is stacked against me from the start. I need like 18 first place wins to get my ADS mount and that's probably going to be 6 months from now that I get it at this rate and hell yes I'm angry about it.
Forever this.
Gameplay > Lore.
Why this was even implemented in the first place is beyond me, right from the get go we all knew the GC resitrictions would be nothing but hassle, long que times and unable to que with friends if they are in a different GC. SE dropped the ball on this one.
We just got some Storm members their ADS mounts in the last week or so. (20 wins in one day, got 3 people their mounts) I get that it can be frustrating though... my last win for ADS (I had 194 when it came out) took about two days, lol. All you can do is keep playing and solo queuing.Somehow that last win is always the WORST one.
So far today, people are getting pops every 20 mins or so here on Leviathan, so just try solo queuing for both Secure/Slaughter and the wins should come eventually.

I went through the same thing on my way to getting my Warhorse, and it felt like FOREVER getting from 95 to 100... so much longer than getting even the 15 wins before it... and then I was able to enjoy the game more based on how my party was doing vs. if there were problems in the alliance.
While I'm not changing GC's and forfeiting all the PVP rank-based rewards, I do want to experience being in the different Grand Companies for a variety of reasons, so I have a character on Leviathan in Maelstrom I'm developing. Once I get that to 50 I'm sure I'll be PVP'ing some with him so I'll most likely find myself in your party or alliance at some time or other, albeit under a different name.
We can try to get you in the PvP LS if you'd like. We're always a bit full though even after I remove members to make room. ;( Hopefully it's sooner rather than later!
Get rid of Grand Company involvement. It's completely asinine and hurts the system on such a grand scale. Also the 3 team BGs are cancer. I've no idea how the developers don't see this. If you think PvPers are sitting behind their computer screens battling in Frontlines and soaking in the lore of their grand company, you're delusional.
