Your attitude screams, 'I'm miserably unhappy in life'Lets see:
Beta:
Auto-Attack
Guildleves that were limited
Fatigue
complex synthesis
beautiful graphics
No content
crashed in full screen mode
catered to casual players
Early September release for CE:
Got rid of AA in favor of action
Guild leves still limited
Fatigue (I never hit fatigue because I didn't try to rush through levels)
complex synthesis
Beautiful graphics
Crashed in full screen mode
little to no content
catered to casual players
Now:
Auto attack is back because players complained about (moving in battle) ... lolwat?
free leves
no fatigue
simplistic synthesis and with the materia and dark matter system, all items that were needed might be obsolete
Job system totally going to replace the armoury system, so now I'm going to have a clone of myself
Content that's supposed to pass for something to do in the game (Not working since almost everyone is done with it)
Beautiful Graphics
Still crashes in full screen mode
doesn't cater to casual players with the new content being released (crappy armor rehashes that do moot)
The game is full of white knights that don't seem to see ANYTHING wrong with the game and will protect it until they die (They obviously love broken things)

Can not jump
Still waiting for full keybindings and the ability to take screenshots ingame without first hiding most everything you might want to take a screenshot of and slapping a copyright notice in the corner D:
The NPCs. /10
If you have Steam, you can launch FFXIV through Steam and take screenshots using Steam that include the UI.

I hope there won't be any re-reviews for some time still.
I think the community has changed to a lot more positive one because after release every single thread turned into a complaint thread. Now I think most of the complaints seem more like valid critique and suggestions since some trust has been returned to the community by SE that they're actually working on these issues. Only real trolls seem to be the ones who are against all and every kind of change SE is doing.

What's left is the now severely unfitting opening cutscene about the leve-centric nature of the game! inb4 petition for a new CS! I'll give it a day and then make the petition thread myself if I don't see any. They should replace that CS with people entering a instance and then having the entire server come bash on the NM they're fighting until the whole server wipes! That would make an epic CS and paint an accurate description of the new direction the game is heading..?!I must say, with all the changes completed (and coming) FFXIV will soon be a completely different game than it was on the day of launch a year ago.
So what's left that hasn't changed?
Battle system - revamped
UI - in progress of being redone
World map - will be redone
Point allotment and levels system - near complete
Leves, NMs, claming system...
Crafting, gathering, transportation...
All being (or will be) changed in the near future.
If someone were to ask me what has changed (and what is being changed soon) I would have to say... everything. I seriously can not think of something in FFXIV aside from the actual modeling of the weapons and armor that hasn't undergone a serious change since last year.
I hope that the community knows just what kind of work that is for the dev team of FFXIV. Mad props for the hard work!
So, lets do what we can here to get FFXIV re-reviewed when PS3 release hits. They at least deserve that much.
Nothing more than a "Mog is in a good mood" thread, and a thank you to the people who are putting time into making FFXIV a better place. Devs, players, community members, forum posters, everyone.
Thank you.
If you don't think new summoner is better, you're playing the wrong game.
