The core reason to not buy a T9 clear is that if you're going to go into T10 you're going to want the experience and lessons T9 taught you. While the difficulties are different, learning to do your job while simultaneously doing all these other things is going to be absolutely essential going into T10+.

A T9 clear is not going to come immediately, or easily. It took me about a month of jumping into PF groups to learn and reach the skill point to start seeing the exit - and another month to find a group that could actually follow through and didn't immediately disperse because someone decided to make this group right before their static met up or some other nonsense.

You don't have to become a raid leader, but you may have to start taking the initiative to build these parties on your own. If you're not going to take the initiative yourself, then your speed is going to be at the behest of others, and there's no magic solution for that.

I had a ton of bad parties, but in the end it turned out fine.

Some people just seem to want it easy. They go into a couple of PFs and deduce "zomgs dis so hard y only bads q dis nao" and quit there, implying it can\\'t be done. I still see a lot of parties for T9 and know a lot of ppl want to do it. It\\'s all about the effort of learning the fight yourself and finding other people willing to see the same effort. All of these threads about T5 or T9 alwaya fall down to the same category; not willing to handle one or both of these points.

Part of the problem is none of the Main Scenario or Crystal Tower fights had such a steep learning curve or abundance of instant death mechanics. And unlike Extreme primals where there's some advance warning, the game doesn't really give anyone reason to think Coil would be harder until they slam into a brick wall at T5/T9.

    TRUTH ABOVE! RANT INCOMING!
The game is too easy in comparison to the end game content ( NOTE THIS IS MY OPINION NO HATE PLEASE!)

My opinion: Calling the coils a "challenge" and justifiying it to suit elitist needs is wrong, they ARE broken to the point where you can BARELY duty finder, its a shame to have something so good then slam into an inconvenience like coils, challenge is good TO AN EXTENT until it becomes unethical and downright CHEAP.

Insta kills no matter what was always cheap, not having a chance to escape death in a VIDEO GAME is pretty poor choice of design other FF's never had this problem to this extent.

The mechanics are too precise and the A.I. is fundamentally HARD, saying it isn't hard isn't giving the AI any credit and quite frankly its wrong, not only that but trying to find 8 people to do so is out of a lot of peoples leagues including my own just because I like playing alone.

The Coils much to peoples disagreement is a stain on this game, locking people out because of poor communication and teamwork that doesn't exist in DF and only works some of the time in PF........ just no.

The Coils themselves have armor that is arguably the best in the game and people want to rush to get it and for good reason too, which leads to massive hate and aggressive behavior.

The Coils also need a Nerf they ARE too strong and people need to realize that.

The Coils have lock on higher turns and for one reason.......... you guessed it, because teamwork failure. "OHH NO NOT SKILLZ!!!!! THE SKILLZ TOO MUCH FOR HIGH LEVELZ PLZ STAY DOWN HERE BECAUSE PEOPLE SUCK AND YOU DONT HUR DUR" pretty much in a nutshell.

The Coils have essential story elements from before the game..... why lock that from the populace? "Because challenge hur dur"...........................-__-

The Coils need to be dumbed down and certain bosses not have certain skills that they have, its too much.

Well i paid for my t9 clear on Friday noon.By Friday evening i found some people that invited me in their t9 farm LS after showing them that i don't fail in t9 from a PF party(they sure as hell wouldnt even give me a chance if i had the 100 sold tag) and now i have more than 50 clears under my belt.So basically i had to PAY in order to get the 100 sold tag off of me just to be given a chance to join a community that does the content.I double dare you now to find an argument against what i did.

You did not have to pay. Your aim was to get into a FARM GROUP. No farm group wants to take a shot on someone unproven. Many others before you who cleared before Christmas 2014 had to gather their own people and grind out T9 until they cleared. They made friends. They worked hard on finding people who were making progress in T9. What you wanted was a -shortcut-. You got it. Yay.

Regardless,i am contributing and being a stable member of that group.I am EARNING the right to be in the group by failing once every 5 hours, and this fail because of being tired of nonstop farming.I could NOT earn that chance to prove myself if i hadnt paid.Oh yes,i could run the content with PF mouthbreather groups for a month and get a kill when the stars align. Please enlighten me on how this would make me a better raider or person.

Actually, some farm groups will if you talk to them and ask if it's all right to join. My farm group allowed someone who hadn't cleared to come with us since he said he'd seen everything up through divebombs and just needed a group who would not mess up in the final phase. We took the chance and brought him with us... and he played flawlessly. We got him his clear and then we all went on to farm it a few more times.

Yep, no harm in asking. While one can't always expect a yes with T9 because of how long it takes to get back to Phase 4 if someone messes up, the amount of people whom have T9 cleared isn't very large so if a party leader is sitting around for awhile they are likely to give a chance just to get something going. Of course even the best farm parties have a simple mess-up every now and then because of possible RNG.
