How many times did it take for you to get a card drop?

Had an FC buddy get Terra and Ultros on his first visit to Dragon's Neck. Bonus round? Bartz's card also dropped on his first Battle in the Big Keep.

But that's because RNG gonna RNG. I've cleared quite a number of primals since patch but only have a Garuda card to show for it. Oh well.

Other than Bahamut and Cid, I haven't really had to do more than 30 matches against anyone to get their card, although I haven't really taken on many of the high-level people. I got Minfilia before Y'shtola, a second Godbert before I realized I already had one, and I'm always surprised to find duplicate cards in my inventory after running a dungeon. Even for Bahamut, I was just showing off the Triple Triad games to my friend to try and lure him back to the game, and the very next match after he walked away I got Bahamut. Mostly, I just play matches while queued and almost always get the cards within one or two queues.

Now gold packs. Those are a pain. Always Momodi and Baderon. So many Momodi and Baderon. Why u no good to me gold packs!? T^T

I got lucky on Onion Knight and got it on the first WoD run after the update. I didn't even know cards dropped from duties at that point until I figured out where it actually came from.

That being said, my other ventures have been a bit more difficult, but not as bad as some I've heard:

All in all, I guess I've been pretty lucky. Still scored like crap in the tournament though.

For Triad battles, it's been pretty random. I've gotten most of the cards I actually want in varying degrees, but Vorsaile simply refuses to give me Kan-E-Senna; I'm pretty sure I've played him about 100 or so times, and I beat him regularly now since I can use a primal ascension deck.

I've not got any so far on the first try. Most of the fights with npc's require 20-30 wins and I'm on run 15 of Brayflox and still nothing.

I battled Imperial for Gaius, took me more than 300 battles, I just didn't count it. All i know is that I definitely got around 40k MGP by the end of it all.

Moogle Mog took only about 7 runs.

Garuda took me fighting Marcette about 50 times, not including about 11 HM runs I did.

Those are far and away my most painful experiences so far, but I'm missing a lot of dungeon cards still... i just don't like grinding them all at once, really burns me out.

I forgot how many wins I had to do to win my Gaius card. I think it had to be maybe..about 2 to 3 hours.
But Hidibrand.. THAT card took me 3 days to get. And Hab's stupid rule didn't make that fight any better.
I was so relived when it dropped for me.

Much run happens only for Garuda Card >_> also the NPC who drops Thancred Card... about 50x win he still won't give me that card.
But Shiva, Titan, Gilgamesh and Enkidu, drops in 1 run lol (some other card from dungeon drops in 1 run too).
