I'm gonna leave this here, i posted it a few days ago but apparently posted it where threads go to die and dont think it will get a response without the proper attention and this seems important to me (sorry about the wall of text in advance)

Is anything planned for the fact that actions overwrite the effect of your auto attack? i don't remember bow it worked in 11 but in this game you have a million actions to scroll through on 30-60 second timers and if you're dealing with anything but arc you murder your dps using half of them, the only reason arc is so op right now is because its attacks are constantly on a cooldown and it doesnt effect it's dps. Lnc has a good 60ish att on arc and a lower delay even taking into account multishot. As long as this effect continues though, close range melee will always be at a disadvantage unless you nerf arc into the ground. And as for the fact that the dev team dont want animations overwriting why not make the abilities have animation priority over auto attack animation? I also realize there should be some limitations on this such as you shouldnt auto attack when your wsing or something but for invigorate and raging strike that doesnt even effect auto attack then why shouldnt it just go off under the animation? I understand the visual appeal or immersion or whatever you want to call it but when it hinders the backbone of such an integral system why should it be in place?
