Gold Saucer Expansion

With being released now, at the end of 2.0. When or how will the patching and expansion of the gold saucer work?

Gold Saucer is its own event and area. More prizes will be added periodically and more play options. The expansion likely won't affect this since it was released in 2.x unless they release flying mounts or something. I do believe this was the point of it being released before expansion to be something people can play with until they get expansion even if it's not right away at release.

On expansion they are going to add more cards for triple Triad and something else I don't know since I care about Triple Triad only.

Since Gold Saucer rewards are all cosmetic, it wouldn't be surprising if they included special flying mounts as rewards in the future.

I agree with everything that has been said so far but I am also wondering how often will it be expanded. Will they add new tracks every even patch like most new content or will it always only be one or two patch points of the story so we will be surprised they are expanding it. I would expect them to add tracks every even patch which is when the locks are taken off the major raids for gear but it may be they add to the GS every odd to stay consistent with how they have added to the game based on how 2.0 was patched.
