Having said that, I play with a couple of friends who like to watch the cutscene and I'd usually accommodate (as I'm the tank most of the time). But in those two instances, cut scenes are way too loaded, it will easily add 10 minutes + on a 20 minute content. It's simply too big of an inconvenience to everybody else who's already seen it all.
My advice to you would be to either grow a thick skin and let people say whatever they wish. Most people won't even bother kicking anybody for going afk or dc during those instances so that's nice.
Either queue as a dps and be left behind, so you can watch the cutscenes in peace or try to find a group on party finder that can accommodate your needs.

It does suck for new people not getting to watch the CSs, but it sucks for the 7 people if they forced to sit through them too. Unfortunately it's a no win situation, basically because of how the dungeon is designed... they shouldn't have put such lengthy CSs mid-dungeon (and thankfully haven't done this with anything subsequently)

My initial post may have souded like all the people in the dungeons were jerks. But that's not what I tried to say. Of course I understand where they're coming from. It's not fair to make them wait every time if they have to farm. I just think the duty finder should have one more feature. You either chose a "newbie bonus mode" where you'll always queued with newbies and only them would be able to skip cutscenes. Or you uncheck this option and play with veterans for farming. You'll, of course, be giving up the bonus.

And I agree, these dungeons' CSs placement and length are the real problem here. I mean, a lenghty cutscene just before every boss fight? People are bound to be locked out unless everyone watches it.

Unfortunately the content your wanting to watch is a year and a half old. everyone has seen it a bunch of times. I would suggest just watching your cs nobody should bitch after you've watched them, while people continue on. just replay it again get the full experience.

I get that, I don't think anybody should be forced to watch because of me, but couldn't there be mechanic so that if they want bonus they'll have to wait CSs, and if they don't want CSs they play only with veterans?

Sorry, I didn't read the entirety of the post but I still feel the need to answer because it seems you have the same problem as I had. But the good news is:

It's only in Main Scenario dungeons. Every other dungeon still has the good ol' tactic-y feel, even if you can speedrun them, you still have to pay attention to mechanics and teach/learn tricks, etc.

So don't worry too much about those 2 silly dungeons Although, I wish Square would change them somehow so this doesn't happen (Lower the ilvl sync to 50, MWAHAHAHAHA)

Change the dungeon a litte if at all possible (the CS placement are really bad). Or the changes to duty finder i mentioned (which I still stand by) either whay would make it way better for first times.
I'd still prefer the changes to duty finder because that way veterans would be able to farm and newbs would be able to enjoy story.

It's not an ideal solution (as really there isn't one) but you might be better to do it once watching all the CSs (people won't wait they will just do the bosses as they are all easily done with just four people), and then do it again where you skip the cutscenes with everyone and do the boss fights with them. Like I said, not ideal, but as someone else pointed out at least this is the only content that has this sort of cutscene problem

Ultimately the problem is people, not the game. Other games that have player-avatar-in-cutscenes like FFXIV's (Mabinogi, for example) use the cutscene as part of the gameplay, and thus require synchronization with all players. So whoever is the slowest holds up the entire party. Hence why they are skippable, but should only be skipped if the entire party skips them. Like it could be fixed by not "opening" the boss room until all players have finished the cutscene.

What would fix the problem is unworkable though, because it requires that all parties be formed of players willing to watch the cutscenes repeatedly. Or what would be better is changing the item level sync to the same level of the gear rewarded in the previous dungeon (level 50 or so), that would effectively make speedrunning less viable.

But at the same time, how many tomes do you need? Once you get to level 50 you just buy the ilevel 100 gear (back in 2013 it was the ilevel 70 darklight gear) upgrade it to ilevel 110, and then do nothing with them until you get your relic weapon to that level.

My GF and a friend will probably reach lvl 50 today. I'll try to find a party with them for non-rush run. If i can't, i'll just watch at the inn and get this over with.

I think the problem is the way the dungeons were designed really. But about not opening the boss room until all players finished cutscene i agree.

I stand by my idea of an extra option in the duty finder interface. They would have to see cutscenes if they want bonus. If they want to prioritize speed they could just uncheck the hypothetical option. This would make runs with newbies potentially more profitable if veterans teach them tactics and they finish the dungeon in a reasonable pace instead of dying.

Adjusting the DF for noob bonus and vet only is a bad idea in its self people wouldn't tealy use it or just make it farm run only.

And this would further separate people.
