Primal Hate "RANT" No trolls please.

Dear SE, please come up with some other way for players to "quickly" EARN Mahatmas lights and lights other then fighting Primals. (please do not comment on anything to do with RAIDS, this is about relics and the relic quest)

As a player with 3 Zodiac weapons ( soon to be 4 and 5...dont ask me why) this endless fighting and killing of complete cake walk primals is becoming TIRING. So tiring and boring, I no longer get dressed for them. Darklight all the way!!

I know this was by design (help noobs clear them primals). But at what point do I/we get a break? Maybe, I/we should get a Zeta/light bonus everytime we get the first time SOL bonus (many of us dont need sol tomes anymore) We'll take extra lights/zetas instead of tomes, please. (cards, anyone?) Anything?!?

ps: This isn't about a nerf, just more ways to quickly EARN lights and Mahatmas lights.
Anything other then smacking around Shiva....

They already doubled Nexus light and Mahatma light is a joke to begin with. ._.

The fact that you're on your 4th and 5th weapon might be a good indicator of why you're getting burnt out.

I wouldn't be against better ways to farm light, but I think you being burned out has more to do with having grinded out 3 weapons (and working on a 4th and 5th) rather than the content being too grindy.

You could also just reprioritize a bit. Start farming something else and consider the light a "bonus" thing. e.g. Try to start farming a cool glamour set, or some ex primal ponies, and then any light you get is just an extra reward.

No matter what they buff or nerf there will still be a best way to farm and once you've grinded the crap out of it it'll be boring. Such is life. Which goes back to my first statement, maybe you're just burning yourself out by focusing too hard on your weapons.

You can always do dungeons? they give light as well. Did a duty roulette low once and got brilliant light one time. I think it was cutters cry

I don't understand what TC is complaining about. There are tons of ways to earn lights. It's not Square Enix's fault you choose to do the same thing over and over. You're complaining for the developer to implement a feature...already implemented??

I mean they doubled lights. They made an hourly bonus system. They made mahatmas easy to obtain and build up.

Thanks for your advice. Fighting primals is the faster way to earn lights. All I asked for was OTHER ways to "Quiclky Earn lights like: Beast tribe, crafting or thing else. No nerf. I want to keep playing this game and not get bored and stop playing. Thanks again

You can ofc do dungeons and raids, but amount you get from those duties are way out of balance... Why not just make dungeons and raids give the same amount of light per minute as the primal fights?

It wouldn't make it faster by any means, it would just make it less monotonous...

That being said, the OP have done way too many relics to complain about this... and Zeta light farm is a joke. You can do it in 1-2 days easily. Nexus light farm is more annoying, but it's really not that bad anymore.

^this. However, no matter how S-E tries to "balance" Light progression, there will always be one singular route that is considered "most efficient" and as such will be spammed. Just like how back when Animus books were first released, everyone was "SPAM TWO BOSS MYTHFLOX HM FOR BOOKS", now it's smash Garuda into kibbles and bits over and over again.

No matter what, the efficiency scale will always be:

Least Efficient, Least Repetitive |------------------------------------------------------| Most Efficient, Most Repetitive

The only thing S-E can truly do is attempt to make the gap between the two points smaller.

Ok, this post isnt meant as a Comlpaint. I mearly stated "Can we do other stuff and get Ok lights from it" Nothing less nothing more. Hecks, I'd to Gold Saucer stuff if it buy lights. ( and I hate the Place..lol) "There's no WHINE that need to be served here." Thanks Guys

Thanks guys, I do need a break and I've repreordered a few new games. Thanks for being understanding. I'm going to skip out on finishing my Whm's weapon. I'am not so good on Whm and I keep getting stuck with speed running players in DF. Its Time to retire my Whm. lol
