Do EX Primals really have a better card drop rate?

Recently I've been seeing an awful lot of people claiming that EX primals have a better drop rate than HM primals and I'm trying to figure out if this is an actual fact or just rumored assumptions coming from players because EX are harder.

Can anybody point me towards some actual data with a decent sample size showing that the EX primals have a better drop rate or did I miss a dev mentioning this somewhere?

The reason I'm skeptical is because I haven't gotten a card from an EX primal after over 30 wins. I also have a number of friends with a similar amount of wins and no cards to show for it. I understand 30 wins is a relatively small sample size and doesn't prove anything aside from bad luck however so I'm just wondering why everybody is coming to the conclusion that EX primals have a better drop rate?

If you're going to answer, please leave your assumptions out of this. I'm not looking for a debate, I'm looking for real data or dev posts. I'm not saying the drop rates aren't better, simply looking for evidence.

I have no hard data or anything like that, but I can echo the notion that cards seem to pour out of extreme primals compared to hard mode primals. I'd be hard pressed to get a card from a hard mode primal after 20+ runs, but usually within 5 runs or so of any extreme I'll have gotten the card 1-2 times. I've seen people get the cards multiple fights in a row during extreme primals, something I've never seen in any hard mode primal.

It's just personal experience but it seems to be pretty widely accepted the extreme mode versions drop it more often.

I've seen countless reports of it as well. Too bad Shiva EX (which is also accepted as being a joke of a fight) is blocked behind Moogle EX which nobody runs and when you join a DF, enjoy the wipes and then vote to abandon.

Could you please tell us how many EX runs you did?

As for myself I did about 40 Moogle HM runs, and got nothing. Only one guy in all those runs said he got the card too.

Did 10 Shiva HM and nothing as well.

I'm not bothering anymore since there is no point for me to do that content now that I'm over 60 cards (also done with Rowena and Landenen's Random BS rule, so the increase in 3/4 star cards in my pool of cards won't do crap)

When I run ex primals, a card drops for at least one person every run or two. HM? Could be 20+ without a drop for a party.

My personal experience for the primal cards:
-Ifrit, Titan, Garuda, Leviathan and Ramuh were all off NPCs who dropped them.

During a 6 hour window of Garuda HM being bonus for Zeta, I ran it about 80-85 times, even completing my Zeta with not a single card.

NPC that drops Garuda was no walk in the park either (due to Chaos rule). Took about 50 wins before I received a drop (draws and losses would total well over 200)... though Ifrit, Titan, Leviathan and Ramuh were all under 10 wins.

And King Moogle, I had no luck when doing it on HM (4-5 times) but EX dropped first go... Shiva EX I've tried 3 times with no drop though I haven't begun to farm her card seriously yet.

I guess I've been lucky with primals but it counterbalances the bad luck I had when grinding a single card for 4 days! (*cough* Gaius)

Reading post on various forums its seems apparent that EX primals drop cards at a much higher rate.
