Help with Bard in Frontlines (Slaughter)

Hello everyone o/

I'm posting because I need some advice on playing Bard in Frontlines (Slaughter) Mode. Recently I've been finding it difficult to get actual kills outside of spamming Misery's End on enemies with already low HP or using Blast Arrow on enemies near the cliff's edge. I can usually do a decent amount of damage but this isn't much help in Slaughter if the enemy isn't actually dying. I know about the Bard's sweet spot (12-14 yalms from the enemy I think) but it's difficult to get an enemy there and keep them there.

I feel like in terms of supporting the party I don't have any problems. I know when to use Mana Draw so Requiem doesn't drop and using Manasong when healers need MP or just to keep Requiem up longer, as well as interrupting healers to make it easier for the other dps to get kills.

Maybe I'm wrong but I feel like just supporting the party isn't enough, since I'm a dps and not a support class I know it's closer to being the other way around in PvE raids but I've felt it's different in PvP.

The only way you're going to do any serious damage is popping all your CDs and blowing your load on someone, you can dish out some serious burst by popping everything you have and just sticking on them

Bards have the most damage CDs out of any job and probably the strongest burst due to said CDs as well. So use them wisely.

You also have the ability to pick off any low targets that are getting away from a melee that just went ham.
