Account constantly getting locked out?

Anyone else have this problem? It's happened like three times already in the week and a bit I've been playing - I log in via the launcher, and get told my account's been locked due to "unusual login activity"...

I don't think it's anything to do with my account actually being compromised, I suspect the problem might be because I don't have a static IP, and every time my router resets itself for whatever reason the game is over-reacting and thinks I'm logging in from a scary new location. And it only takes a minute to check my email and do the reset thing, but it's getting really annoying really quickly.

So... any way to make the game calm the hell down and stop making me reset my password every other day?

By any chance are you logging in from different computers or is your IP address resetting?
I would recommend putting the authenticator key on it with your cell phone.. Its free and you get a free teleport location out of it..

Then you wont have the problem.

I have the same problem. I'm playing on PS4 and always log on the exact same way. I don't have the security token/one time password thing set up. I have tried to do that but it kept telling me I'd put my mother's maiden name in wrong when it definitely isn't. I guess we're super secure, changing our password every login, lol.

Had same issue for a good while (back in 2013) solution: get onetime password... else sadly see no help for you :/

Just to expand slightly... So there are 2 ways I know of to use one time passwords. There's a smart phone app (free), and then you can buy a physical token ($12 ish I think?) that does the same thing. Like others have said, using this should ease your woes with the jumpy security daemon.

Looks like I'm getting the security doodad on my phone then... Didn't occur to me that would get around the overly-sensitive IP detection, thanks for the help!
