Trying out Pvp...

Hey...

This morning, I thought I'd give it a shot, try pvp a few times, starting with the simple pvp things (lvl 30). I signed up for it and waited for almost an hour. Then I decided I'd sign up for multiple instead (30,40,50) thinking it would be quicker this way, as I'm a healer.

2 hours later (yes, 3 hours in total), still nothing. Seriously ? How many hours do you have to wait for playing pvp ? I've read some threads on here which certainly don't show good aspects of pvp, but I thought it was worth a try... This wait certainly acts as a deterrent.

I'm not sure I'll try again. But anyway, devs, if you want some more players at pvp, why not start by creating some sort of shops in Limsa anyway ? The more people see it, the more will play. Having pvp on a lost island where you only go once in the whole story surely doesn't help promote pvp content.

You are on the Chaos data center where i was originally from, its is literally the worst DC for pvp (your only choice of pvp is frontlines and even that takes an hour)

I had no idea about that, it's really sad.. I'll try to ask my FC mates if we can make 2 teams of 4. Might start faster, if we get to be assigned vs each other.

Waited 200 minutes for Wolves Den. Gave up. Never done pvp ever.

Wolves Den has to be done with a premade of 8 that is balanced and split into two groups of four. [for quicker queues]

You could probably find willing people in PF!

We'll do that in FC this staurday, 2 teams, perhaps 3 ! thanks for the tip ^^ Also found a LS, that will probably help

Make sure when you add your PvP ranks together, they are about 8-9 ranks apart. Anything more and the queues will not be instant.

If everyone is new, that is good!

i think more people would play if the role restriction wasn't enforced.
