Im all for interaction. But asking me if I want to use a key is a little redundant. Is there a reason I'll never want to use it?

This reminds me of plenty of other games, but most notably in Resident Evil games: "This key is now useless. Do you want to discard it?" Well, if it's useless, why the hell do I want to keep it? It's just gonna be sat there taking up a slot in a very limited inventory.
Same thing here. Yes, if the key is for that door, and I have to go through this door, I would like to use it. It should just automatically use the key once you have it.
