Nah, I'll just stand here.
Nah, I'll just stand here.
Useless menus, WHY do we have to click yes for this?
Why are keys even a thing? As soon as the enemies die, just open the doors.
But what if there are monsters behind the door? I can't wait for the day I can go Gonzo on my party.

Player interaction with dungeons. What a concept. Granted, opening doors is about the most basic you could go with the concept.. but it's something.
Im all for interaction. But asking me if I want to use a key is a little redundant. Is there a reason I'll never want to use it?
This reminds me of plenty of other games, but most notably in Resident Evil games: "This key is now useless. Do you want to discard it?" Well, if it's useless, why the hell do I want to keep it? It's just gonna be sat there taking up a slot in a very limited inventory.
Same thing here. Yes, if the key is for that door, and I have to go through this door, I would like to use it. It should just automatically use the key once you have it.
I suspect it's to deter/slow botting. Not really as prevalent these days I guess, but making a force interaction will keep the scripts from being able to just run through the place.
...that or immersion, whatever works for you.
I think there's about two dungeons in the game where you might actually not want to - Tam-tara normal and I believe Haukke normal both have doors that, once unlocked, will generally cause the mobs right behind it to immediately come after you.
That said yes it's so frequently redundant.
And in both cases using the key is pointless in the first place. In Tam Tara, when you click on the thing to give you the rosary, just have it dissipate the wall instead. In Haukke, why do you even need that door in the first place?I think there's about two dungeons in the game where you might actually not want to - Tam-tara normal and I believe Haukke normal both have doors that, once unlocked, will generally cause the mobs right behind it to immediately come after you.
