    Need Help with Turn 5

    Hey all,

I'm an iLVL 117 Dragoon in the Lamia server stuck on The Binding Coil of Bahamut Turn 5. I am well aware that a lot of people have already cleared this raid but I'm looking for amiable people willing to help me get this clear.

Hopefully while doing so, I can also find a static. I've been playing alone this entire time and I'm looking to join a friendly and helpful community.

Thanks in advance for anyone that responds. Have a good day!

I'm afraid you will not find a group or even a static for this an the forums.

I was also late to the party, due to not beeing interested in rading for a long time.

I recommend you watch guides only for the basic mechanics, and keep in mind that most video guides are rather outdates because of the DPS that is accessible by now.
I remember the MTQ guide, where the fight was like 12 minutes; on my first clear it was over in like 4 or 5 with some phases so quickly gone you didn't even realize.
Do some runs through Dutyfinder to get a feeling for Divebombs to not be that guy who f's that part up.

Once you are down with the basics and are less insecure, create or go with a single tank PF kill group.

You shouldn't need a static group to beat t5. Using the DF and PF is a good way to meet other people also interested in clearing it. Might be a bit of a headache, but if you stick with it you'll at least learn and be able to practice most of the mechanics. (Those dive bombs, though). Of course, if you're looking for a static for further turns, try the PF. But like you said most groups looking are well beyond t5.
