Slight Issue with DoT icons

So I main as a SCH/SMN, who primarily use DoTs, but most Jobs have at least one DoT or Status Debuff that shows up under the enemies HP bar. However, and this relates more to raids than to regular content, but does anyone else have issues with their DoTs appeaing once the icon limit has been reached; not the status limit. Well I know that a players DoTs usually appear at the front of the list, but for some reason, not all of my DoTs show up, but I know they are there. Now while they may not appear on the main bar, I don't see them on the focus target bar, so occasionally I forget if I need to refresh my DoTs or not.

Now what I think would be nice is if our DoTs always showed up at the beginning of the DoT list, if not on the main, than at least on the focus target guage.

While I agree that this might help, what about the effects that override one another, like storms eye/path and that one ninja move. If my icon disappears I may waste a move trying to recast the status. Or if I try to stun or silence an opponent I may not see someone has already done it.

I'll try it and see how it works.

So I tried this method and, it didn't really work. True I only see the DoTs I cast, but stillstill seemed to be bound by the 30 icon display rule. A few times I noticed after I cast a spell that the icon still didn't appear. I'm not sure if this is a PS3 thing or if it happens on the other platforms as well.
