RMT issue and suggestion to adopt

ok for starters my blacklist is full of RMT spammers and i get at least 3 tells from at least 4 different sellers every 10 min, surfice to say im getting frustrated with it

i want to suggest that SE adopt the strategy blizzard adopted off of ccp's game eve online.

as seen here http://us.battle.net/wow/en/blog/181...token-3-2-2015 you can pay with real money "to the developer of the game" a virtual game time token that can be sold for ingame currency without the fear of having there account banned.

SE can manage the sales of such items with the market board much how blizzard are going to do it and hopefully stop RMT in the game which means less stolen accounts and bots flooding the market.

ccp implemented this with great success i played there game for 5 years and did not see a single RMT

I should add that the system Eve Online uses is much more geared towards that game than this. Their economy is light-years (see what I did there) ahead of ours. Their economy is pretty much the backbone of the game, it dies, game dies. Our game economy is much less depended on by game mechanics. Eve Online is a galactic economy-based war game, we are not.

yes but neither is wow the difference is that the price of plex in eve is purely dependent on the players buy supply and demand, blizzard are managing it buy removing the ability to influence its price buy the player so its influence will not impact the economy in any way. also there are other games like ff and wow who have adopted this method and is a trend that is seeming to take hold everywhere

Would be interesting to see how this would fit in with this game's economy!
