How to cheese tournament TT

Where are the brackets ? Where is the matchmaking ? Seriously SE, do you even play at your game ?

As a big TT fan, I'm really disappointed, ppl should be excited by the tournament event, not by the different ways of cheating to get the Lightning Card.

sadly most people will find n easy way to get on top in games or real life its unavoidable

easiest way to avoid win trading is make tournaments matches via roulette once u register u get thrown into a df type queue without knowing who you will be facing next or even better remove the players name aswell n just have it as player vs player problem solved

im sure once SE relise how many are doing it as we speak they will make plans to implement somethin to avoid it

random matches like that though, without brackets, will only allow tier 3 decks (60+ cards) to come out on top regardless of rules (because you can prepare a reverse deck easily obviously)

With the random roulette rule active, rules are decided only after decks are chosen.

Thats not what I implied here at all.

The current tournament is All Open Plus, random matches means random match-ups, not random rules since thats called Roulette.

They should have just had everyone register today and held a bracket tourney tomorrow and simply king of the hill it.

I was expecting a randomized bracket tournament with your opponents randomly chosen between some NPCs or humains, and you'd score more points for winning with more flipped cards for ex


Or some sort of way to queue up on the tournament board and do matches, with a random opponent chosen by the server?

Except that with that Plus rule, people with 60+ cards all play the same deck lol. It's a huge pain in the ass not to end in a draw, and draws give less points than playing vs Elmer, wtf. Everything is encouraging wintrading at this point ><

This whole tournament is so poorly planned out its stupid.

1: as mentiond people can alrdy cheat by working togheter (easier said then done but still) to give someone a advantage.

2: There is no point for anyone to fight a person that provides low points cause all you would be doing is damage the amount of points u could get in total even if you win as compared to fighting people with more points value.

3: There seems to be no way to see whos signed up to the tournament (other then the top 20) so running around trying to invite people for a match only to see "this person cannot be invited to a tournament" over and over is just annoying.

Fine if this was just a card to win but with the ability to score over 100k points then it has to be a much more organised event.

So, wait, if you win every game, but played against people who didn't have high ELO already, you can't win the tourny? Also, the tourny is all-open, so people can use the TT solvers to guarantee a win or draw? You can choose who you play against, thus people can lose on purpose to make you win? I... don't get it. How is any of this fun or a good idea?
