How to cheese tournament TT

I just feel like an idiot. I didn't read the rules or anything just went off patch notes. Spammed an NPC without caring about winning/losing/draw just to get shanttoto. Then saw your limited to 15 games, AND their are prizes. I was in such a rush to continue farming Bartz that I completly trivialized this weekend after spending Friday-Sunday for 15hr+ a day farming 60+ cards.

Now that I know the rules/prizes available, and this problematic method.

SE Needs to remove Player v Player matches from the Tournaments.

I had someone trying to get me to play them since I'm one of the very few 60+ card holders on Jenova.

It's nice that I grinded out cards everyday for a straight week for no reason. Not only does the tournament have nothing to do with TT strategy or skill, it completely trivialized the hard work of everyone who collected 60+ cards in order to get ready for the tournament. The people that deserve to win will most likely not even rank in the top 3 depending on the server, and people who don't even care about TT will profit from selling wins to other players. So the people who exploit the system come out on top, the people who don't care about TT get rich, and the people who spent all their time on TT for the last week are SOL.

this i didnt even manage to hit the 60 cards in time had two TT matches relised what was going on n didnt bother after that theres no point cause the lazy people who find quick n easy ways to get on top will always benefit

quickest n easiest solution make tournament matches via 1 roulette talk to npc or tournament to enter a queue then the matchfinding system will match two players against each other who has similar tournament points

Yeah, this was a really bullshit way to hold a ahem "tournament". Even DF style matches would have been better than the exploitable joke we have now.

-TT win selling tourneys

Then they come up with small boo boo band aid hotfix that almost does next to nothing. Best advice they given was stuff like please try to refrain from doing so and so etc.

I\\'m sure they will "look into this" after the results of the 1st tourney. But by then a loooooot of ppl will be pissed and will have lost their faith in the pvp aspect of TT.
SE can\\'t compensate ppl with lightning cards so it\\'ll just add more insult to injury to all those ppl with 60+ cards.
Its wolves den all over again as ppl will defend it and say its just for my collection or vanity item etc.

Well,for those selling wins,perhaps they can use their ill-gotten gil to buy some dignity.

SE need to stick a dignity npc in the GS,now.

They really need to start seriously considering hiring 1 or 2 devs who are experienced in developing PvP systems to oversee the development of said systems in this game because they don't seem to have anyone like that in their team when you see this lack of robustness in pretty much any type of pvp system they try to put out.

I hope so. I can't recall last time I was this upset about something in any game. The MGP Rewards don't bother me at all I can grind 140k mgp in 2 days. Tournament Specific Cards where you currently can only get them by buying with gil does.

I was really looking forward to this tournament. I can deal with the bullshit RNG (Hab -.-) but this? Come on SE... You seriously messed up. Coming from a guy who imports your games because he loves you so much. Fix this. ASAP.

I feel they should just scrap this tournament, and rework the system. Everyone who has posted here has a valid point and there has been far and few disagreements among those who have lodged a complaint.

Truly feel there was zero play testing done for this "cheat-a-thon". Take down Tournaments and work it so its done right, please SE.
