Yep thats about it.
Kudos to any winner i guess but this is not a well thought out tournament.

Signed up for the tourney, quickly saw how possible it was to game the system, stopped playing for the tourney afterwards.
Seriously, SE seems to have an extreme lack of foresight whenever they make any new content that has players competing.
leave it up to SE to just fucking ruin it. we've been getting teased with this junk for a year now and this is obviously how they've handled it.
how stupid of me to expect otherwise.
i'm honestly disheartened by it. i hope the wintraders have fun with their exclusive card! :^)
Me and a friend signed up for the tournament as soon as it opened up, played a few matches against random other players. Took about 3minutes before we saw one guy win-trading with another. Was really obvious and he only played that one guy for all 15 games. He's still at the top of the leaderboard on our server after 10hours. If anything TT tournaments shouldn't let you play against the same person more than once or twice. It wouldn't completely fix the problem but it would help.
There is anachievement for winning 100 games, this suggests the tournament will be repeated, and seeing as there's only 80 cards in game at present, it makes sense for the winning card in the next one to be lightning too (or it may be moved to a booster pack/separate achievement). Nothing in this game is ever really a one chance deal to get. They need to fix this so that players can either only play a person once, or so that it's done via DF to prevent win trading/selling.
People already selling wins on Odin.
If it's any comfort, he will be beaten by someone who out-cheats him.Me and a friend signed up for the tournament as soon as it opened up, played a few matches against random other players. Yeah, probably not that comforting.
Well even if someone beats him by cheating or not cheating wont matter. Both me and my friend had too many draws to even have a chance to be in the top20. All Open is a really dumb rule to have in a tournament because it will at best just lead to draws if both players are any decent and knows basic math (for this one since it also has Plus).
There's so much that could've been done better but I think the issue with win-trading is the biggest one right now, it's too easy and it probably wont go away ever.
For the record the winner also gets 140k MGP, second to 10th place gets a MGP reward matching their rank along with a Gold Triad card. 11th to 20th place gets 10k MGP. So there's more in it than just the Lightning Card.
It's nice that I grinded out cards everyday for a straight week for no reason. Not only does the tournament have nothing to do with TT strategy or skill, it completely trivialized the hard work of everyone who collected 60+ cards in order to get ready for the tournament. The people that deserve to win will most likely not even rank in the top 3 depending on the server, and people who don't even care about TT will profit from selling wins to other players. So the people who exploit the system come out on top, the people who don't care about TT get rich, and the people who spent all their time on TT for the last week are SOL.
my thoughts exactly. tournament trivialized. tourny exploited. spent hours grinding cards for nothing. even acquiring the cards doesnt benefit the skilled players, it benefits the lucky. It's nice that I grinded out cards everyday for a straight week for no reason.
