Yeah like real talk, do the people saying this even into fashion? Whether or not a hairstyle works on my character is gonna depend on all kinds of crap. Current gear, skin color, face shape, eye shape, and all sorts of other features are going to heavily change how a hairstyle looks from one character to the next. Not even considering race differences. You're playing an Elezen or Roe lady? Good luck even finding another member of your race+gender combo, much less one using the hairstyle.

The entire PURPOSE of Gsaucer is cosmetics, so yea..

I must suck at searching because I can't find a single image of a male highlander with this hair style. Let alone one that looks similar to mine with the same face and beard so i can see how it would look. There needs to be some way to preview this hair before buying it.

I think the aesthetician should show all hairstyles in the game, but with a lock icon on any you don't have access to (like the GS one if you haven't bought it). Allow you to display your character in that screen with any of them, but the final "yes change my look to this one" button (I forget what it's actually called) would be disabled whenever you have locked-out features displayed. That would make a good "try on" window for things like hairstyles or any other character features they want to make conditionally available.
