We may not even be playing, or alive for that matter. Change is eventually necessary. We don't need a system like this right now, but in 4 years when a lot of people are gone and numbers slide?
SE has given no indication that they plan to implement such a system and there is no evidence that it is anywhere on their agenda. So feel free to stick around waiting for those 4 years you just mentioned to see if anything changes by then but right now and for the foreseeable future there is currently no evidence of plans by SE to implement such P2W systems. Any current flaws like with dyes or rings/bracelets where people are misusing them SE has already said openly and in public that people need to stop else they will be forced to change it and restrict it because people are not using it for it's intended purpose (I do not care how many times by the way you claim SE secretly told you differently, prove it if going to make such claims).

They have also stated they are against P2W too hence why they restricted the cash shop to vanity only items tried to keep them them un-tradable/un-sellable, these forums erupted with anger when the cash shop was originally mentioned (something I doubt they wish to repeat) because of not only people against items limited to the shop but also the concern that would would do things like suggested in this thread where it becomes P2W through converting real money to in game gil which would then be used to buy housing, pay others for runs and clearing content/gaining loot and crafting gears and resources using gil bought with that real money...it would literally be P2W in every sense if they allowed it. Now if you want to hang around and wait to see if in future they add such systems then be aware you will be probably waiting one hell of a long time.

If you want to play a game that supports such features and services like P2W ones mentioned here then why not go play those ones. A vast amount of people like myself came to this one because of it being subscription based and because of SE's stance of being against offering such services. I do not see SE changing their stance and alienating a lot of their current subscribers just because some people on here ask them to do so, especially when the people who ask for them to do so are perfectly happy using the current system else they would not be playing this one with it's current stance against offering such services...so changing it will lose them a lot of their subscribers if change their stance yet not changing it will lose them none as evidenced by the people asking for it here being subscribers still despite SE not offering such P2W systems. As for how many they would gain to make up for that loss if changed their stance, you have no proof they would gain enough to make up for it.
